Full-time We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Bar and Floor Manager to join our diverse and close-knit team.
As the Restaurant Bar and Floor Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant, bar, and floor services.
Leadership skills, strong attention to detail, personability, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service will be crucial to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of bartenders, servers, and floor staff.
Schedule staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage based on business needs.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to enhance team performance and boost morale.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Bar and Beverage Operations:
Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
Develop and maintain a diverse beverage menu, ensuring it aligns with customer preferences, industry trends, and the restaurant's unique ambience.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
Train staff on proper beverage preparation techniques, presentation, and responsible alcohol service.
Floor Operations:
Monitor and manage overall restaurant floor operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery.
Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Address customer concerns and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Customer Service:
Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience that motivates them to return.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their needs and preferences.
Handle customer feedback, comments, and complaints effectively and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of bar operations, including beverage preparation, inventory management, and responsible alcohol service.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
