Job Description:
BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist the Director of Athletic Communications in the marketing and publicizing of Salve Regina University's varsity sports programs to include photography, videography, and social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of publicizing Salve Regina's athletic programs.
Maintain athletics website while integrating statistics, game previews, recaps, photos, and videos while producing graphics for social media, and upkeep of team rosters, player bios, and records.
Conduct team Photo Day sessions for promotional purposes.
Manage game-day media operations including live statistics, live broadcast, production and printing of game programs, and social media promotion.
Assist in the management of athletics Social Media accounts.
Responsible for photography and videography coverage of live sporting events.
Recruit, train, coordinate, and supervise work-study students.
Host and produce talk show programs such as SeahawkTalk?.
Produce and provide voice- over for video productions.
Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of special events such as Seahawk2Seahawk, Seahawk Academy, and Seahawk Athletic Awards.
Assist with promoting and marketing student athletes within the institution, at the conference-level, as well as regionally and nationally.
Provide marketing support for intramural and club programs to include registration, promotion, and social media.
Assist in working in concert with marketing to create branding and messaging consistent with the institutional mission and goals.
OTHER DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Must adhere to all NCAA /NEWMAC/Salve Regina University rules and regulations.
In particular, all athletics personnel are charged with being knowledgeable of, and assuring and monitoring compliance by all student-athletes, coaching and administrative staffs with applicable governing constitutions, by-laws, rules, policies, interpretations and regulations of the NCAA, the University, and appropriate athletics conference.
Staff members shall immediately advise the Compliance Office if there is reason to believe that violations have occurred or will occur and shall cooperate fully in any investigation of possible NCAA or Conference violations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications or the Director of Athletics.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Current CPR, AED, and First-Aid Certifications.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Incumbent is subject to outside work and could encounter extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
1-2 years' experience in intercollegiate athletics required.
Strong coordination and organizational skills required to effectively manage operational challenges.
The successful candidate will possess highly developed communication and organizational skills, efficiency in computer usage and a high degree of self-motivation and dedication to all aspects of the intercollegiate program.
Must promote and foster an environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred
Qualifications:
2-4 years' experience in intercollegiate athletics preferred.
