TRAINING TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as aTRAINING TECHNICIAN (SCHEDULER) in the TRAINING REQUIREMENTS AND MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.
Responsibilities You will use office automation equipment to provide a variety of products (e.
g.
, brochures, schedules, examination materials, class schedules, student and examination materials, or other material) for an academic organization.
You will input information into a database for various students and personnel training requirements.
You will maintain administrative documents supporting course offerings, faculty and staff schedules.
You will answer inquiries of general nature regarding training to students, instructors, and other staff members.
You will prepare certification and training reports to present to management.
You will coordinate with representatives of other organizations to communicate training requirements, policies, and procedures.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Utilizing computer-based scheduling tools (e.
g.
Microsoft outlook, enterprise Training Resource and Management System (eTRMS), etc.
) to prepare schedules; 2) Applying regulations, policies and procedures to prepare documents, records or reports; and 3) Performing scheduling, administrative and/or training functions in support of organizational mission.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
