Assistant Professor, Counseling/Clinical Psychology


Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Salve Regina University invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor in Counseling / Clinical Psychology to begin in Fall 2024.
The successful candidate will primarily teach and serve undergraduate psychology students.
A faculty candidate would also serve as needed as a committee member on behavior analysis graduate thesis or dissertation research.
The ideal candidate would be able to teach Theories of Personality, Psychological Diagnoses in Sociocultural Contexts, Theories of Counseling, Introduction to Psychology, and special topics in their areas of expertise.
A teaching load commensurate with the other duties of the position is set at 7 courses per year.

Responsibilities include teaching, maintaining productive research and scholarship, advising undergraduate students, and participating in service at the university, local, and national levels.
