This position is located in the Public Affairs Office, U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. This position assists with collecting, preparing, and disseminating information, written material, photographs, graphics and video products concerning the purpose, mission and activities of the command to internal and external audiences through a wide variety of communication media. Researches available material and interviews faculty, staff and students to obtain information for use in developing products in appropriate journalistic style and within deadlines assigned by the Public Affairs Officer and Public Affairs staff.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
