The position is located in the Performance, Analysis and Evaluation Department at Naval Health Clinic New England (NHCNE), Newport, Rhode Island.
You must be a US Citizen. Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance. Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. You must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Provide comprehensive analysis of command-wide data and information, as well as research of industry standards, to benchmark and assess costs, quality and efficiency in the delivery of multi-functional command healthcare programs.
Responsible for developing expertise in designated health system data applications needed to support executive decision-making and information requests.
Responsible for developing, conducting and managing statistical and management studies to support command, planning, budgeting and related activities by developing recommendations to solve significant management problems effecting NHCNE command processes or projects.
Management analyst for assigned Directorates and Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the command.
The duties and responsibilities of this position are essentially similar to the GS-12 level, except that this is an entry level position and a developmental position for an individual not fully qualified to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities in the position for a period of development during which the selected employee will gain comprehensive knowledge of all policy, guidance and program activities. The incumbent will work under gradually decreasing supervisory controls until they are fully qualified to assume the full range of duties and responsibilities, as described in the target position.
This position has promotion potential to GS-0671-12. The incumbent may be promoted non-competitively to the next grade, upon recommendation by the supervisor, provided the work at higher level exists, the incumbent has demonstrated the potential to perform work at the higher grade, and qualifications and other administrative requirements are met.
NOTE: If the position is filled at less than the full performance level, there is no implied promise that the incumbent will be promoted to the intermediate level and/or the target level of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE for GS-09: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Preparing executive reports to determine if the healthcare being provided meets targeted goals through in-depth, statistical analysis of workload and expenditures.
Establishing methodologies to identify, collect, compile, organize, analyze, interpret, track and present workload, cost and other pertinent medical and dental data information.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
