Serves as an Administrative Assistant at the GG-09 grade level and performs clerical and administrative tasks involving a variety of functions for an organization. This position is located in Newport, RI.

Review and edit clerical and administrative reports for consistency, accuracy, grammar and punctuation.
Type correspondence, reports, studies, and messages in final form from rough drafts, notes or oral instructions.
Establish and maintain administrative tracking and reporting systems.
Manage the security program, process security clearance visit requests and maintain appropriate security records.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and editing clerical and administrative reports for consistency, accuracy, grammar and punctuation; 2) Typing correspondence and reports in final form from rough drafts; 3)Entering and tracking budget and timekeeping information in databases; 4) Assisting with security clearance request and maintaining security records.

A Top Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
