The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
Overhaul, Test, and Certification of OK-542 Acoustic and Electromagnetic Sensors.
Overhaul, Test, and Certification of OA-9070 Acoustic and Electromagnetic Sensors.
Overhaul, Test, and Certification of OK-542 and OA-9070 Universal Slip Rings.
Overhaul, Test, and Certification of OA-9070 Optical Sensors.
Make Mil Specification cable assemblies per Approved Government controlled Drawings. Assist the Quality Assurance department in Test and Certification of Cable assemblies.
Required Skills and Education
Equivalent Technical School certification (can be substituted for the degree) and at least two years minimum work experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance (US Citizenship required)
Experience in reading and utilizing schematics. blueprints, and technical manuals and procedures
Ability to perform validation and verifications of new processes and change procedures
Ability to solder
Ability to troubleshoot, isolate, and repair failed sensors and electronic components
Preferred Skills and Education
Active DoD Secret security clearance
Prior experience with repair, overhaul, upgrade, testing, and certification of Towed Array Handling Equipment Sensors, specifically OK-542 and OA-9070 series
Prior experience troubleshooting and repair of Sonar Electronic equipment.
