Engineering Technician

ICI Services is currently looking for an Engineering Technician to provide technical services, laboratory operations and IT support to the Electromagnetic Systems Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI. Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) TOP SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Providing engineering technical support to the Electromagnetic Systems Department who is responsible for communications systems in submarine radio rooms at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport, RI.
Updating drawings including production, installation, and shipboard drawings.
Supporting Environmental Qualification tests (EQTs).
Providing mechanical and technical support at NUWC Newport, laboratories, Naval facilities, shipyards, and foreign travel facilities.
Perform preventative monitoring and performance analysis
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues
Interfacing with government technical project managers to ensure support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards.
Recommending process improvements with specification and procedural boundaries to achieve efficiencies and cost savings.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two years of directly-related experience in providing technical services, laboratory operations, and IT support.
Prior experience supporting NUWC Newport or other DoD entity in a similar role is highly desired.
Experience with configurations of submarine radio rooms is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum requirements are a high school/vocational school diploma or GED.
Additional formal training or degrees, such as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
