In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Reviewing records and existing information to determine the sensitivity level in accordance with standard procedures, policies and regulations; 2) Developing technical, descriptive and preservation metadata appropriate for archival record groups utilizing Standard Subject Identifier Codes (SSIC's) per instructions and established guidance; 3) Providing reference and research in response to requests for information about archival material and records on specialized subjects or topics; 4) Determining archive records retention based on informational and historical value; 5) Utilizing applications and digitalization technologies to store, preserve and search archival records. 6) Performing preservation techniques for both analog and digital records to safeguard collections records from deterioration and damage; 7) Conducting routine assistance visits and inspections to ensure compliance with all governing regulations and requirements to determine the effectiveness of the records management program; 8) Assisting patrons as needed in the reading rooms by relying on knowledge of archival and library resources of a facility. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
