FOR GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Utilizing Federal, agency and local purchasing regulations, policies, procedures, and business practices in obtaining oral and written quotations for goods and services; 2) Resolving or recommending solutions to problems (i.e. delays or damage to goods in shipment, poor quality or workmanship, substitutions, etc.); 3) Negotiating and/or awarding purchase orders for specialized services, equipment, and maintenance; and 4) Reviewing purchase request to ensure they are meet standards of Government Purchase Card program. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Purchasing items /services using purchasing regulations, methods, procedures, and business practices; 2) Assisting with purchase request to ensure they are meet standards of Government Purchase Card program; 3) Compiling statistics and preparing reports on purchasing activities; and 4) Obtaining oral and written quotations and issue purchase orders according to Federal and local purchasing regulations, policies, procedures, and business practices. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
