The position is located in the College of Maritime Operational Warfare (CMOW). CMOW provides maritime operational level education and assistance, in-residence and on-site, in order to improve the ability of Fleet Commanders and their staffs to plan, prepare and employ naval, joint and combined forces across the range of military operations. Responsibilities:
This position is for faculty who instruct in CMOW operational level of warfare academics which includes the Maritime Staff Operators Course, International Maritime Staff Operators Course, Combined/Joint Force Maritime Component Commanders Course, the Executive Level Operational Level of War Course, and the Maritime Operational Planners Course. Faculty also provide direct support to the Fleet by assisting fleet headquarter staffs in crisis and during routine exercises and operations, and by supporting Fleet requested academics, workshops and symposia to international partners. The incumbent will work with teams of faculty, senior military officers and government civilians in these courses and other activities. This position requires travel to fleet locations in and outside of the continental United States. Additionally, there will be a requirement to reside, at times, on board U.S. Navy ships that are either in port or underway at sea. Minimum Qualifications:
An advanced degree in national security affairs or a related field. Significant experience and demonstrated expertise in joint operational level warfare with a specific emphasis on U.S. Navy roles and missions. Joint Professional Military Education (Phase I) from any source. Highly

Experience teaching, both in the classroom and in practical exercises Recent experience in planning maritime operations or serving in a maritime operations center. Given the variety of topics addressed in CMOW courses, some background in the areas of information warfare and/or cyber operations, maritime operations, logistics, undersea warfare, or ballistic missile defense operations is also desired. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
