MEDICAL RECORDS TECHNICIAN

To qualify for the GS-05, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience collecting inpatient and ambulatory surgical procedure records of patients; Experience reviewing and analyzing inpatient records for compliance with established standards; Experience inputting and obtaining data from the Composite Health Care System (CHCS); Experience reviewing and analyzing patient information such as name, social security number, register number, patient category, professional service, etc.; Experience reading and interpreting complex medical terminology; Experience obtaining proper authorization before releasing information from patient records. To qualify for the GS-04, your resume must demonstrate:
One year of general experience in federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
