EDUCATION TECHNICIAN
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing assistance to faculty with curriculum and course content development; 2) Performing administrative support functions associated with the planning, organizing and management of an academic program; 3) Assisting with development and execution of course surveys; and 4) Using a web-based environment for instructional design and execution of courses. 5) Managing department budget and purchasing in accordance with established guidance. 1) Providing administrative support for an academic program; 2) Coordinating curriculum development to ensure the procurement of material /books to fulfill course requirements; 3) Assigning classrooms and ordering audio/visual equipment to support scheduled courses; 4) Advises on the status of the budget and provides recommendations concerning need for increases/decreases in funding.
